Hand wash with cold water
Always hand wash in cold water . If you do, use a cold water cycle, without fabric softener (fabric softener ruins Lycra), and with a very gentle spin cycle. Avoid the washing machine if possible.
Take special care with the first wash, wash it separately.
Avoid soap and fabric softener
